Here at Tele Technology, we carry and distribute a variety of wall mounted and ceiling mounted paging speakers. Valcom is probably the leading manufacturer of these paging speakers. They make them in a variety of styles, colors, sizes and options.

Most common ceiling paging speakers are fitted into a hole cut into ceiling tiles. They are usually mounted to a backbox on the opposite side of the tile. Common sizes are 4" and 8".

For those who do not want to cut ceiling tiles, both Valcom and Bogen make "lay in" speakers. These paging speakers actually replace the ceiling tile completely and lay into the ceiling tile track. This makes for a pretty convenient paging system installation.

As to the wall mounted speaker, Valcom makes a huge variety of wall mounted paging speakers. They make in these paging speakers in a vast number of colors. Styles to fit straight on walls, in corners and bi-directional for hallways. They have this down pat.

Valcom also makes a number of hanging paging speakers. Pendants that hang from chains that make great speakers for restaurants and do a great job at handling background music.

Generally these paging speakers are all wired in series, most have volume controls built in or wall mounted volume controls can be used. And when used with a Valcom paging controller, the speakers will be supplied power from the controller. If you are not using a paging controller, you will need to buy a Valcom power supply that matches the number of speakers you are installing.
